Unsure of your ceiling height? No problem, simply choose the base Semi-Automatic Stira system (2350-2500mm) which is the most common size for Irish homes. We will book you in for your survey assessment appointment, at which we’ll confirm the best Stira loft ladder system to suit you and your property. Any variation in cost can be settled there after.

We will then bring the results from our survey assessment back to the factory, and produce the perfect Stira Semi-Automatic loft ladder system to meet your requirements. We will return approximately 16 weeks from payment of Deposit (or online purchase) to install your Semi-Automatic system. Installation takes approximately 2 hours.

Should one of our Stira systems not quite meet your requirements, we will still have a solution for you. Whether you have extra high ceilings, current access in a tight or awkward place, or a preference for a larger trapdoor, our installers will provide quotations for all bespoke requirements during your survey assessment appointment.

Because we are manufacturers means we can produce bespoke Stira loft ladder systems, ensuring you will have the perfect folding attic stairs system to meet your specific needs every time.

We can also install your Stira loft ladder system in a completely new location/room if required. This involves creating a new opening. This is often the only option if your current opening is in a tight spot and can’t be adjusted or extended as required. We can also install into lath and plaster ceilings. Both these services incur extra cost which our surveyor assessor will confirm with you should they be applicable.

Please note: Should extra works need to be carried out such as taking up flooring, removing existing insulation, having to box out an area to make it work, or attending to a customers personal request, these extra works which incur extra cost.

** When the Standard Stira door is fitted to a typical size ceiling with 300mm mineral wool insulation a u-value of 0.17 W/m²K can be achieved. The assessment of the Standard Stira was carried out on a 57m² ceiling. As the area of the roof increases this will have a positive impact on the achieved u-value.
